Zero down Bail Bonds are bonds written with $0 Dollars down, normally guaranteed by a co-signer with either good credit or in some cases written with job history only. 

Not every person will qualify for a $0 dollar down bail bond, and if you do, you can normally expect to have a down payment within 10 to 21 days after the bond has been posted. After the inial down payment has been made, all further payment will be on a monthly basis. A typical example would be if the bail was $20,000 dollars you would pay $0 down with $400 dollars due in a few weeks and around $100 a month for the remainder of the $1600 dollars. Our bail bond payment plans are interest free; it is illegal to charge interest as we are not a finance company. If payments are not received on time, you may be charged a late fee as per the contract. Please note, the full premium is due regardless of the outcome of the case. There is no return of premium.

We here at Eco-Bail Bonds can usually qualify you for a Zero Down Bail Bond premium payment plan, if we are unable to qualify you than we may be able to work out other payment arrangements on a weekly basis rather than monthly. Another option is to have multiple cosigners, rather than a single co-signer.

We do check credit, but as it is a soft credit inquiry there will be no ding to your credit score. All credit checks are for insurance purposes only, no different than you were applying for auto insurance.

Typically, here in California the bail bond premium rate is 10%. At one time it was illegal for Bail Bonding companies to discount bail bonds, but recently the State of California Department of Insurance changed the rules to allow more competitive rates. We here at Eco-Bail Bonds will normally charge 5% to 10% (state limit) based on risk. The major factors in determining risk are the following:

2. Defendants' previous criminal history
3. Co-signer (Credit History / Job History)
4. Length of time defendant has been in custody. The longer the defendant has been incarcerated the higher the risk
